Integral Coaching® TrainingBy exploring, experiencing and rigorously practicing Integral Coaching®, people in our training courses develop skills, capabilities and ways of being that enable them to immediately and effectively coach in their respective fields of work. Whether participants have never coached or been coached or are experienced coaching veterans, meaningful improvement is experienced and sustained. Our approach to teaching Integral Coaching® is unique and powerful. We model the coaching relationship in every aspect of the curriculum so that participants are learning by what we do and how we are with them as human beings versus just learning about coaching by what we teach. We conduct live coaching in all of our classes to model and 'make real' the method we teach. We observe participants coach and provide direct feedback on their performance of core coaching competencies and the Integral Coaching® method. The ICF core competencies are embedded in every day of our extensive curriculum design and Integral Theory is incorporated into all of our course architecture. We have articulated a step-by-step process for Integral Coaching® that demystifies this discipline and breaks it down into components that can be learned and integrated. Through this process and practice, our certified coaches develop skills that are sustainable. The courses are rigorous while also providing room for the trial and error necessary for learning. Beginner's Mind is encouraged! Our most comprehensive training program, the Integral Coaching® Certification Program which includes Module 1 and Module 2, takes participants on intensive journeys into the realm of human development. We deeply respect participants who authentically engage in their personal and professional development towards becoming an Integral Coach™. We value the skills and backgrounds they bring. We firmly believe in the power of rigorous coaching coupled with compassionate understanding. Students in our programs receive coaching (from each other and the instructors) so that they can be on the 'receiving end' of the method while they also practice the method with each other, guest clients and volunteer clients over time. They progressively develop core coaching competencies as they practice, are monitored and assessed over the duration of the program. Initially, students cognitively understand the theory, method and models used in this approach; through practice and customized development, their understanding becomes fully embodied. Our Training Courses meticulously build excellent coaching skills, human development knowledge, Integral Theory understanding, personal self-awareness, and skilful compassion. We enable coaches to integrate this method and fully embody Integral Coaching® as they build their own successful coaching businesses or other ventures within organizations. Our Graduate Courses support professional certified coaches and other course graduates in their ongoing developmental journeys. We are dedicated to supporting new coaches and professional coaches in further becoming effective, compassionate and exemplary Integral Coaching® practitioners in the venues through which they contribute. Please see Graduate Testimonials for specific comments from graduates of our various programs. The words of our graduates will give you an immediate 'feel' for our coaching school and the impact that our training has on participants. In order to gain a detailed understanding our each of our coach training programs, please see Programs for complete course outlines. |

This is an INUKSHUK which is an Inuit stone figure traditionally found in the icy north. It is a Canadian symbol. INUKSHUKS are erected as beacons by the Inuit traveller leaving a marker for those who follow. These large stone figures can be seen from great distances over ice and snow. Northern travellers can pick out a marker on the distant horizon and walk to it before looking out across the vast tundra for the next INUKSHUK to guide them along unfamiliar and ever-changing terrain. The unique configuration of each stone figure is particular to each person who builds it so you will recognize your companions along the way; each formation also provides vital messages of warning or opportunity. Lastly, it is a sign of respect to pay attention, to stop your own journey and to build an INUKSHUK for travellers yet to come.
The people who join the lineage practicing Integral Coaching® are much like these Inuit travellers. They benefit from those who have come before them and have the responsibility to those who are still to come. It is a lineage that includes skilful means, direct action, clear intention, wise compassion, deep respect, and love. Most of all, Love. It is both a sacred duty and a call to serve clients, students, community, consciousness, and other coaches in this lineage. The INUKSHUK symbolizes all of this to us. Close
